During our The Salvation Army USA Red Kettle Campaign shift, we were also joined by the men of The Natchez (MS) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated and young men from their Kappa League program. We salute these men for all the work they are doing with the youth.

Our organizations are working together to build a stronger community.

We had a great time today with the Zeta Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the Miss-Lou Divine Nine for the annual Teen Summit.

Students from all across the Miss-Lou area attended and gained knowledge about a wide range of topics including to***co awareness, mental health, conflict resolution, internet safety, and workforce leadership.

We look forward to participating again next year.

Congratulations to Rho Epsilon Lambda member, Brother Fred Marsalis Jr.!

Brother Marsalis was recently given the Key to The City of Natchez, MS by Mayor Dan Gibson as part of the city’s Juneteenth celebrations. He was recognized for his positive impact on the city through his business, MDP Fitness, LLC, and his nonprofit organization, MDP Reach .

We salute Brother Marsalis and look forward to his continued work to uplift our community.

DIVINE NINE COMMUNITY IMPACT DAY

This morning, we joined the Natchez Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and other local Black-Greek letter fraternities and sororities to distribute supplies donated by each Divine Nine organization to benefit local community organizations. Through this effort, we continue to show our collective commitment to bettering our community.

Thanks to Ms. Berthenia Rose Jackson, chair of the event, and the ladies of Delta Sigma Theta for inviting us to participate.
