ESP Matrix

ESP Matrix ESP Matrix is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our travel baseball teams are commonly referred to as Eagle Eye Elite. To soar above like an eagle.

The name ESP Matrix was born out the vision of our founders and represents a combination of the diversity of our origin and our vision for the future. The name ESP is actually an acronym that signifies that diversity and vision. E: Eagle Eye is a vision from our founder and President, Melvin Smith. This also represents the brand name used by our travel teams. S: Seminoles represents the Alma mater

of Melvin Smith (Florida State University) and the name we took for our very first baseball team. P: Stands for Pasadena Lakes, which is the original park we started from in Pembroke Pines. This is where the vision for ESP Matrix was born.

One last pic of our boys to conclude the 12U season. We went 9 - 1 at Cooperstown during week #9. And made it to the semi-final game. Not too bad out of 104 teams. We had an amazing run this season! So proud of our boys!

Very proud of our young men this weekend at the Perfect Game 12U World Series. We went 5 - 2 in the tourney, losing in the quarter final to the eventual champions MVP Hustle Despite the loss, we competed the entire weekend against great teams from across the country, California, Georgia, New York, Tennessee, and Texas. And, we’re excited about the future of Eagle Eye Baseball!

1st place USSSA South Florida State Championship. We wanted to be more aggressive offensively: outscored our opponents 62 - 17. No excuses: played some games with 9. Mario Magana brought home the MVP: Hitting in the lead off w/three home runs and batting 1.000. Congratulations boys!

We’ve had a recent skid. It was good to bounce back and take first place in the STARS AND STRIPES EAST COAST STATE CHAMPIONSHIP at . We still have much work to do. Paying attention to the details. And, executing on the small things. But, a win is a win. And, we’re grateful for the opportunity.

This is what the lonely road looks like when you get knocked out in the second round of bracket play. No group pictures. No screaming parents. Just a lonely road. Congrats to the Lakeland Ballers. We lost 7 - 6 in a tight battle. Coach Melvin thanked God for the loss. We hope that something was learned in defeat! We’ll get back to work! On the the next one!
