An amazing and well put on 2nd Degree at Villa Park Lodge! Congrats to our new Fellow craft Aaron! Also special congrats to Worshipful Brother Ray McCarthy who did the Senior Deacons Lecture for the 1st time & Brother Alex who did a good portion of the 2nd Degree Charge for the 1st time! Brothers, Companions, Prophets, friends, and family alike. Tomorrow October 26th is the day. Please join myself and the brothers of Villa Park lodge #1113 with our sponsors and volunteers. As we partner with Phil’s Friends to bring a little hope to people fighting cancer. The care package packing event will be from 1pm to 3pm. light refreshments and fellowship from 3pm to 4pm. Please come out to Villa Park Lodge and help us make a difference. " Cancer is strong. Hope is stronger!"

Fall Service Project

Greetings,
From Worshipful Master Andre Smith and the Brothers of Villa Park Lodge. This year we strived to do service in our community. We are partnering with Phil’s Friends to help bring hope and support to any and everyone struggling with cancer.

What is Phil's Friends? Founded in 2009 by Phil Zielke after receiving support during his own cancer journey. Within a few months Phil was able to open The Hope Center. Thousands of volunteers have helped the organization to support hundreds of thousands of friends with cancer across the US. Through hand assembled Care package cards of hope and prayers. Phil’s Friends continues to offer practical, emotional, and spiritual support to those in need.
Brethren this year over 2 million Americans will face a life changing cancer diagnosis. Many in hospital rooms or homes, overwhelmed by fear and uncertainty. We are asking you to all join us as we partner with this organization to help bring light in these moments of despair.

On Oct 26th, 2025 we will be hosting a care package packing event. Location Villa Park Lodge #1113 time 1pm to 4pm. Phil’s Friends is a non-for-profit organization that operates on donations. We are asking for donations of goods for packing the care package. Any monetary donations offered will be accepted. We are asking lodges to help sponsor the event with 150$ - 200$ donations. Monetary donations given will be used to purchase goods for our packing event on Oct 26th 2025. Lastly, Brothen we more than anything need your time. Please join us on the 26th at Villa Park Lodge the more hands we have the more care packages we can provide.

Mon Sept 8th, 2025 many officers & Members from Villa Park Masonic Lodge had the opportunity to aid our Brothers in Ben Hur Lodge with some assistance on a 3rd Degree Slate! Organizational efforts were handle by our Senior Warden Eric. Villa Park brought their A game for an unbelieveable night! Congrats to the newest Master Mason from Ben Hur lodge and a special thank you to Most Worshipful Grand Master David Lynch for making the night extra special!
