All 4Cs locations will remain closed until Monday, March 2.

That means no classes, no activities, and no on-campus events until then. Tilden shows (pending rescheduling), VITA tax prep, and all other events scheduled this week are cancelled.

We’ll be back to regular classes and normal operations on Monday, March 2.

Good evening! The library will be closed on Sunday, 1/25 as well as Monday, 1/26. We are open tomorrow, Saturday 1/24 9 am-1 pm-drop on into pick up boom or get some research help!

Expect the library's holiday decor and a selection of spooky titles to appear in our lobby soon, through a little witchy magic....

We came across this 1884 volume of New England Legends and Folk Lore in our stacks while reshelving and thought it was perfect for Spooky Season! 🧙‍♀️✨ Written by Samuel Adams Drake, this volume contains stories originating from all across New England. Stop by the library anytime Monday-Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, to take a closer look!

College bookstore ad from 1871!

Even in 1871 the college bookstore was known for its "extremely high prices"💸😂 We can always count on The Index for some humor. The Index was the student published yearbook of the Massachusetts Agricultural College (now UMASS Amherst).

The Wilkens Library Renovations Closure Update!

Our reopening has now been scheduled for Thursday, August 21st. We will have staff members on site in the Lorusso Technology Building aka Building 9, in room Tech 102 for computer and printer access and in person research help 8 am- 4 pm until Friday 8/15. We will not be able to lend books during this time. Looking forward to being back in the building soon!

The Wilkens Library will be closed for renovations starting this Friday, July 18th. We are scheduled to remain closed until Tuesday, August 12th. We will have staff members on site in the Lorusso Technology Building aka Building 9, in room Tech 102 for computer and printer access and in person research help for most of our regular hours. We will also have librarians available via phone, email, zoom and chat during all of our normal semester hours. We will not be able to lend books during this time.

In case you missed it! Also, the Wilkens Library will be closing at 2 pm tomorrow so that our staff can attend commencement!

IMPORTANT COMMENCEMENT UPDATE!
Due to inclement weather, the 4Cs Commencement Ceremony is being moved to FRIDAY, MAY 23 at 4pm at the Cape Cod Melody Tent.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and short notice. Our partners at the Melody Tent informed us of the need to change dates after new weather reports of extreme winds expected on Thursday. Ultimately, our goal is making sure our graduates, faculty, staff, and guests are safe during our biggest celebration of the year.

Please note that graduates should still expect to arrive at 3pm to line up.

Commencement Rehearsal is still scheduled for Today, May 21 at 3pm at the Cape Cod Melody Tent.

Dental Hygiene and Nursing Pinning Ceremonies:
The Dental Hygiene pinning ceremony will be at 11:00am and the Nursing pinning ceremony will be at 1:00pm
