Sadly, Scouting Purdue has to say goodbye to Audrey Brinser, who graduated from Purdue this spring with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering.

Audrey has been an integral part of this club, especially through her role as Vice President of Program during this past year. She held up Scouting Purdue behind the scenes and we would not be the organization we are without her. We are not sure what we will do without our resident Scoutmaster to keep us in check!

Thank you Audrey for all of the work you have put in to Scouting Purdue and we are excited to see your success post-graduation! We will miss you!

Our partners at Scouting Purdue - Eagle Scouts and Scouting Alumni will be set up in the Joshua Design Co. Vendor Midway! These Scouting alumni play a huge role in the ex*****on of this event and are vital assets to the success of Scouting locally.

Last week, Scouting leaders from around the country gathered in Dallas, Texas for Scouting America’s National Annual Meeting. The goal of this meeting is to discuss, plan, and update in order to secure the future of Scouting in America.

Scouting Purdue collaborated with the amazing people at Scouting Alumni in order to attend the meeting. While there, we were able to talk with and educate Scouting professionals and volunteers about our college Scouting model and mission. We were even given the opportunity to host our own elective session, titled “The Untapped Impact of College Scouting”, to explain why colleges need Scouting, what we do, and how to start a model like ours. This concept helps to bridge the gap between youth Scouting and adult involvement.

Scouting Purdue is profoundly grateful to have had this once in a lifetime opportunity to connect with hundreds of Scouting leaders, including the National Key 3: Roger Krone, Ricky Mason, and Devang Desai. We were also honored to receive great support from EVP of Membership Engagement, Sean Magennis.

This conference has strengthened our passion for the Scouting movement while allowing us to grow it by spreading Scouting Purdue’s model to councils and colleges across the nation. We cannot wait to see and help other clubs like ours develop and grow to keep Scouting alive at college campuses!

We'd like to thank everyone for supporting us this week on Purdue Day of Giving. The final numbers blew us away as we had a 342% year over year increase in number of donations and a 120% year over year increase in total donation value.

Scouting Purdue is excited to deliver on our mission as we close out the 2025-26 academic year and approach our upcoming trip to the National Annual Meeting (NAM). None of this would be possible without the support of our community. Thank you!
