Scouting Purdue wishes Purdue Pete a very Happy 70th Birthday as a mascot!

Pete as a logo is actually 86 years old, first created for the Purdue Bookstore. But, he didn't become a costumed mascot until a pep rally in 1956.

Purdue Pete visits us at the University of Scouting every year with his custom merit badge sash! We'll see him again at the next one - December 4-6th.

The 2026 National Jamboree is finished!

Scouting Purdue had the opportunity to give two presentations and speak with countless interested parties about our club and college scouting. Thank you to Leadership Heights and National Eagle Scout Association (NESA) for hosting our sessions. We were able to spread the college scouting model and get scouts from all over the nation excited about continuing their scouting journey!
