Kate Kerr Studio Featuring original art & design in painting, ceramics, and textiles. in Art and a Masters in Education, focused on children's literature.

Raised in Maryland and Delaware, I attended the University of Delaware where I earned a B.A. I studied textile design at the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science, then moved to the island of Java in Indonesia, where I lived for three years. I earned a second Masters degree in International Affairs from Ohio University, and worked as a consultant with Aid to Artisans for 15 years. My work i

n international development took me back to Indonesia, then on to Eastern Europe and West Africa. I now teach part-time at Shawnee State University in southern Ohio, and operate my own business, Kate Kerr Studio.
