After graduating with my political science degree in 2006, I began my career as a military contractor in Virginia. In 2009, my husband Darrylโs Air Force career brought our family to Wichita, but the incredible people we've met along the way is what kept us here. While attending Washburn University, I balanced the demands of law school with raising three children and supporting my husband during h
is Air Force deployments. After graduating, I quickly developed my litigation skills as a Sedgwick County Assistant District Attorney, handling cases in civil probate, juvenile offenses, and traffic law. Now serving as the City Attorney for Derby, Kansas, I continue to address complex civil matters with zeal and dedication. My role as president of the Wichita Women Attorneys Association and vice chair of the Kansas Real Estate Commission allows me to give back and positively contribute to our community. In 2019, I was recognized as a 40 Under 40 Honoree and served as a McConnell Air Force Base Honorary Commander from 2020-2023. We are deeply committed to our children, and our family finds joy in church activities, traveling, and volunteering.
