Wichita State Financial Aid Welcome to the official page for the Wichita State Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships! We accept walk-ins and appointments every day.

The Office of Financial Aid (OFA) serves as a resource for all students and families to provide financial aid expertise on a variety of financial aid topics. We have a team of over twenty (20) financial aid professionals that handle things such as: advising, loan processing, Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), financial aid awards and eligibility just to name a few. Our office is equipped with f

our (4) Financial Aid Advisers to answer your questions on all of the above aspects of your financial aid experience. The OFA not only provides in-house assistance, but also contributes to the campus and surrounding areas by conducting financial aid presentations for middle school, high school and returning adults. You will see us all around from Wichita State New Student Orientation to your high school’s Financial Aid Night. Our ultimate goal is to make the process of understanding and receiving federal and state financial aid easy and user-friendly. Our hours of operation and contact information are:

📢SHOCKER FINANCIAL WELLNESS📢 is hosting a series of free, come‑and‑go workshops designed to help you strengthen your money management skills and plan for your future.

Each session takes place from 11:30 AM–1:30 PM in RSC 142 and focuses on practical, real‑life financial topics. You will learn how to build habits that help your dollars💸 go further, understand the ⬆pros and cons⬇ of buying and leasing cars🚗, explore housing🏠 costs, and how to maximize your scholarship success at our workshops!

Current Wichita State students who attend 3️⃣out of4️⃣ Shocker Financial Wellness workshops and complete 1 Peer Coaching appointment by December 1st will be entered into a drawing for FREE SPRING 2027 TUITION (non-renewable and in-state value only).
