From Casablanca, Morocco, Salma Echakar traveled across the globe to pursue her passion for aerospace engineering at Wichita State. Drawn by WSU’s aerospace program, she gained hands-on experience through tutoring, mentoring, internships and collaborative projects that connected classroom learning to real-world problem solving.

Her advice to future Shockers: “Time goes by quickly, so take advantage of every opportunity." 🎓🌾
