COACHING SPOTLIGHT

Returning for his 3rd season on staff is Coach Steve Wellenc. Coach Dub returns to his role coaching first, hitting I/O, working directly with our first baseman, and our hitters. Dub is also an Erie Alumni playing for the Kats in the early 90s as a 2 way player, was named a Region 3 All Star, Team Captain, and MVP.

Returning for his 3rd season as a coach in is Coach Connor Desiderio. Coach Desi has served as the Pitching Coach for the Kats after spending a season as the assistant pitching coach his first year on staff. Desi is also an alumni of the program, holding both the single season and career wins records for the Kats.

Returning for his 4th season in is Coach Derek Jozwiak. Coach Joz is the team’s recruiting coordinator, strength coach, social media director, he works with our hitters & catchers, and much more. We’re also excited to announce that this season Joz has been promoted to Associate Head Coach of the Kats!

The ol homestead in got a little upgrade just in time for fall, as our staff works everyday to not only bring a great & historic baseball culture to our players, but a phenomenal environment and day to day experience.
Nothing better than an on campus home field that you can call your own!!!
