We’re excited to host a special Guest Speaker Presentation with Dr. Myriam Nafte!

🦴 Recovering the Dead in Post-Conflict Areas: Forensics and International Human Rights

Dr. Nafte will discuss how forensic anthropology helps locate and identify victims of mass violence, genocide, and state-sponsored disappearances, and how this work supports justice and human rights investigations around the world.

✈️ Study Abroad Opportunity – Kosovo Practicum!

Interested in international relations, peacekeeping, and global security? This Spring 2026, students have the opportunity to take part in an immersive Kosovo Practicum (May 10–17) led by Dr. Raymonde Kleinberg and Dr. Anup Phayal.

Through lectures, field visits, and direct engagement with local and international organizations, students will explore the complexities of ethnic tensions, peacekeeping strategies, and international legal frameworks in a region shaped by history and ongoing reconciliation efforts.

This course is open to CMR students and those enrolled in PLS 421 and is an incredible opportunity to gain real-world insight into peacebuilding and international conflict.
