This is a reminder that you can pick up your 4-H Livestock Auction checks on Monday, August 10 from 3-7 PM in the Conference Room, Husted Hall, Best Way Center, Randolph County Fairgrounds. Your 4-H'er must be present to sign for their check. They must also bring their buyer thank you notes, stamped and addressed, ready to send. If you have not picked up your buyer lists, please email me, Sue, [email protected] and I will get them emailed to you. If you have any questions, please let me know. Below you will find a sheet on how to address your thank you cards. If your 4-H'er cannot attend on Monday, August 10 - checks will be available in the Extension Office, 8 AM-4 PM, Monday-Friday, but the 4-H'er will still need to sign for them. Checks will not be mailed

Farm safety saves lives! Join us August 15th!

Farmers, families and community members are invited to the East Central Indiana Safety Summit for a full day of hands-on farm safety training.

Educational stations will cover:
- Equipment safety
- Anhydrous ammonia
- Ropes
- Grain-bin entrapment, featuring the Keystone Cooperative Grain Bin Simulator

📅 Saturday, August 15
⏰ 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
🍽️ Lunch served from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Ribbons are awarded using the following criteria:
Green – participation
White – poorly constructed or barely meets exhibit requirements
Red – adequately constructed or does not fully meet exhibit requirements
Blue – very complete exhibit, meets exhibit requirements, and is well constructed
Orange – exceptional blue ribbon exhibit (Merit)
Sweepstakes is awarded to the best overall exhibit in that 4-H project subject matter area.
