🍀The Indiana 4-H Animal Identification deadline is May 15th! DNA hair samples and animal leases are also due to your local Purdue Extension Office by May 15th.
🏆To be eligible for your county fair and the Indiana State Fair, your animals must be completely and correctly identified in Indiana 4-H Online (in.4honline.com) by the end of the day on Friday, May 15, 2026.
âť—As a reminder, DNA hair samples are required for all swine, sheep, meat goats, dairy cattle, and beef cattle to be eligible for exhibition at the Indiana State Fair 4-H Show. DNA hair samples are due in the County Extension Office by May 15th. Animal identification requirements can be found at purdue.ag/4HAnimalIDRequirements.
🌟 We have also created the Indiana 4-H Animal Identification landing site for helpful resources, including step by step 4-H Online Animal ID and DNA sample collection instructions: purdue.ag/4HAnimalID.
❓For questions or assistance with 4-H Online, please contact your local Purdue Extension office.
💚 In appreciation for those that are helping you locally, please do not wait until the last minute to identify your animals. 🍀 Don’t delay, ID today!
