Description:

Longleaf Pine is a majestic Florida native tree known for its exceptionally long needles, strong storm resistance, and important role in the southeastern ecosystem. Once the dominant pine across much of the Southeast, this long-lived tree develops a tall, straight trunk and an open, picturesque canopy as it matures. It is highly drought-tolerant, adaptable to sandy soils, and makes an excellent choice for large landscapes, rural properties, and native plantings.

Elaeocarpus angustifolius

Description:
Blue Marble Tree is a rare and beautiful tropical tree known for its glossy green foliage, delicate fringed flowers, and striking metallic-blue fruits that resemble marbles hanging from the branches. It makes an outstanding specimen tree and conversation piece, offering year-round interest and a truly unique appearance that is rarely seen in Florida landscapes. Its upright growth habit and lush canopy make it an excellent choice for collectors and tropical garden enthusiasts.

Spineless Prickly Pear is a large, fast-growing cactus valued for its smooth pads, edible fruit, and exceptional drought tolerance. Unlike many prickly pears, this selection has few to no large spines, making it easier to handle and maintain in the landscape. This year has tested me in ways I never expected. Multiple freezes earlier this season wiped out well over half of the nursery, and much of what survived suffered heavy damage. Even now, there are still a handful of plants hanging on that I honestly didn’t expect to make it.

But sometimes growth comes from persistence. Long days, hard work, and more fungicide and antibiotic treatments than I can count seem to finally be making a difference. Seeing signs of recovery — even small ones — reminds me why I love this work so much.

Not every season is easy, but rebuilding something you care about is still a blessing.

Geiger Tree is a beautiful small tropical flowering tree known for its vibrant orange flowers that bloom throughout much of the year in warm climates.
