Wylie Pirates Bowling Wylie Pirates HS Bowling Club is an AHMOsome way to meet peers who enjoy the spirit of competition, team comradery and most of all having fun! WHY JOIN?

FOR STUDENTS AT WYLIE HIGH SCHOOL

PURPOSE: Foster the opportunity for student bowlers to experience the spirit of competition and community pride while participating in the sport of bowling. The Wylie Pirates Bowling Club is a member to the Texas High School Bowling Club (THSBC) which is the representative, administrative, legislative, and executive body for high school bowling in the state of Te

xas. University Interscholastic League (UIL) eligibility rules and policies apply. MISSION: Promote the participation of high school students in competitive bowling at
the varsity and junior varsity level. Come join others who share an interest in bowling and competing in the sport! No experience is required! There are opportunities to win scholarship money. If transportation is needed it can be arranged! It is a lot of fun!!!

Our first bowler who has received a scholarship and will bowl at the collegiate level next year for Roosevelt University. Joining Calista are the bowlers that were part of the team this year. We are already looking forward to next year as we believe that we will have a strong competitive team!

Try-outs begin tonight at 9:00 pm at Plano Super Bowl. All Wylie High students are invited to join! If you missed the meetings feel free to come and get filled in on the information. Try/outs cost $15 and you need the liability form signed by the parents -we will have extra at the bowling alley tonight.

A great HOCO parade float for the bowling team. Many thanks to Jennifer, The mother of Alex, Christian, and Calista for taking the day off of work and putting the float together at the last minute. A great group of bowlers showed up! Can’t wait to get the season underway with them this year. Looking forward to a fun and winning season!
