THE REASONS of LEARNING ENGLISH
There are a great number of different reasons why people want to learn English. In order to learn English effectively in proper time, we must find out some main causes for our own sake. It is the same to me. I have my own explanations of English learning that might be varying or similar to others.
First of all, I want to pick up English because I want to find a job. After having been working in hotel industry for over 10 years, I got tired. Yet how could I look for an occupation without expertise in a specific field? Luckily, I got a BA in English at the same time I earned my accounting degree. Besides that, I also started working as a part-time teaching assistant in 2016. What I need to snap into action now is to gain some certificates in teaching English professionally required by many English language centers. Then I believe that I am capable enough to be offered a full-time employment as an English teacher.
The second pretext of mine is to share how I study English with others. During the time being an assistant teacher, I have met many English learners telling me that they have made no progress in English learning for long time which is really frustrating as I myself had struggled with my own difficulties in English proficiency when I had been at university. Thankfully, I finally had got acquainted with a teacher that had changed my life forever. She not only had taught me everything I had needed to know about English, but also had showed me how to approach English in ways that best had suited me. Thanks to her, I had been able to use English properly when I had started my first job as a salesperson.
Being able to travel around the world is the final reason. As you know, English these days is a worldwide language. If two partners coming from various countries do business together, they would use English as an intermediate tongue for communication. Consequently, I can visit half of countries in the world with acquiring English only. How convenient it is!
In conclusion, three mentioned above excuses are why I must and need to learn English. I once was in despair because I could not figure out my own true reasons at first. However, the more important thing is that I did not give up until I met them.
As a result, if you admire to pick up English, you should find out the actual motives of mastering English. You have to be persistent to reach the English level you want only if you do so since studying English could be truly disappointing because of consuming a lot of time and requesting appropriate motivations as well as encouragements.
