🌿 WORK ATTACHMENT ORIENTATION BRIEFING – TROPICAL HORTICULTURE 🌿

Today, Student Support Services, through its Employment Development Service, successfully delivered a Work Attachment Orientation Briefing to 32 Certificate IV in Tropical Horticulture students of the National University of Samoa as part of the University’s preparation programme for students undertaking their upcoming 5-week work attachment commencing on 13 July 2026.

The briefing focused on preparing students for:
✅ Workplace expectations
✅ Professional conduct
✅ Workplace health and safety
✅ Reporting procedures
✅ Assessment requirements

Students will undertake their work attachment with:
• 🌱 Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MAF)
• 🌿 Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE)

The National University of Samoa sincerely acknowledges and appreciates the continued support and partnership of MAF and MNRE in providing valuable workplace learning opportunities for our students. These placements will allow students to gain practical experience, strengthen their industry skills, and further develop their professionalism within the field of Tropical Horticulture.

We wish all 32 students a successful and rewarding work attachment experience as they continue representing the National University of Samoa with pride and professionalism.
