Galveston College is having a Job Fair April 10th and is open to students and the general public. Participants will be able to meet with employers, near by universities, and some of our own GC program representatives to learn about potential academic pathways and job opportunities.

If you know of employers , resource organizations, or institutions who might like to join, please share this post! I hope to see you all there.

November Mobile Calendar. Any resident of Galveston County who meets federal income guidelines or has an emergency need can receive food from any mobile location regardless of what city they reside in.
All mobile sites are drive thru style. Please stay in your vehicles. Registration is completed at the mobile location. Be advised, mobile locations are subject to change without notice.

Days: Second & Fourth Wednesdays each month
Registration begins at 6:30am
Location: 1825 Howell Ave. La Marque, TX 77568
First United Methodist Church in La Marque hosts their bi-monthly Galveston County Food Bank distribution. They are always in need of volunteers to come and help out. Volunteers should arrive around 7:30am to help

Giles Middle School will be hosting it's monthly food drive with GCFB. Participants should enter off Brown St. Event is open to the public.
