Please be advised that tomorrow, April 30, 2026, the clearance signing at the SSC Office will be temporarily suspended. All students are discouraged from going to the SSC Office on this date.

Clearance signing at the said office will resume on May 4, 2026, from 8:00 am - 11:30 am and 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm.

The Supreme Student Council (SSC) informs all students that, pursuant to the approval of the Campus Administrator upon the Council’s request, the 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 until further notice.

This measure is implemented in consideration of the health and well-being of the student body amid the prevailing extreme heat conditions in the country.

Pursuant to the approved letter from the Campus Administrator, as requested by the Supreme Student Council (SSC), the mandatory wearing of 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠 is 𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗟𝗬 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 until further notice.

This initiative is for the health and wellness of everyone due to the prevailing extreme heat index in the country. While the uniform policy has been relaxed, campus standards of modesty and professional decorum must still be observed.

We commend Hon. Shiloh Isha Duran on her election as Student Regent and FSCOI President. As the primary voice of thousands of students at the university governance level. We have confidence in her commitment to advocate for our shared interests with integrity, honesty, and heart.

We also honor Hon. Niño A***n Tombalasa as FSCOI Secretary General. His leadership is key in promoting transparency and strengthening coordination among our diverse campus communities toward one vision.

Nawa’y magsilbing inspirasyon sa bawat kabataang Pilipino ang kanilang sakripisyo at tapang upang patuloy nating isabuhay ang diwa ng pagkakaisa, paninindigan, at paglilingkod sa kapwa at bayan.

Sa panahon ng mga hamon, nawa’y manatili sa ating puso ang tunay na kahulugan ng kagitingan—ang maging matapang, matatag, responsable, at makabayan sa bawat araw.

𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐔 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠

Exemplifying the pursuit of excellence as a perpetually inflating bubble, Eastern Samar State University conquers new frontiers in the 2026 Edition of the Higher Education (HE) Ranking, climbing much further than the year prior, in the most recent classification published earlier this month.

Guided by the intuitive leadership of ESSU President, Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan, Jr. through the meticulous ex*****on of the Vice President for External Affairs and Quality Assurance, Dr. Jocelyn S. Castro, the university made an exponential jump in the HE Ranking from the previous year. Even with more institutions ranked in this year, ESSU still climbed ninety-seven (97) places higher in the said ranking.

Eastern Samar State University earned 6,244 points to secure the two hundred twenty-fifth (225th) worldwide ranking out of five hundred seven (507) institutions ranked for 2026, a steep climb from the three hundred twenty-second (322nd) ranking last year (4926 points) out of four hundred twenty-two (422) institutions ranked, truly a feat none the easiest.

The HE Ranking is built on a simple conviction that universities should be understood as living institutions rather than prestige labels. A serious ranking that looks at how universities see themselves more clearly, understands how different parts of institutional life interact, and identifies where change is both necessary and possible, these convictions give Higher Education Ranking its identity.

Huge congratulations to the ESSU studentry, the workforce and leadership who continue to show that when everyone contributes willfully towards the same goal, they make things happen. Cheers everyone!
