IPEM Law Academy, Ghaziabad, under the aegis of IQAC, proudly hosted the National Seminar on “Cyber Crime and Cyber Law: Emerging Threats and Remedial Measures” on 26th April 2025 in collaboration with Cyber Cell, Ghaziabad, Cyber Peace Organization, and AdRoit Links.
The day began on a vibrant note with the Welcome Address by Prof. Dr. Sugandha Goel (Executive Director, IPEM Group of Institutions) and the Inaugural Address by Dr. Geeti Sharma (Director, IPEM Group of Institutions).
We were honored to have Prof. Dr. Kiran Gupta (Professor, Law Centre II, Faculty of Law, Delhi University) as our esteemed Guest of Honour.
A thought-provoking Panel Discussion on “Cyber Law in the Age of AI and Automation: Redrawing Legal Boundaries” featured an illustrious panel:

Mr. Santosh Tiwari (SHO, Cyber Crime Police Station, Ghaziabad)
Prof. Dr. Deevanshu Shrivastav (Founding Dean, GL Bajaj Institute of Law, Greater Noida)
Mr. Upendra Thakur (Advocate, Supreme Court)
The session was skillfully moderated by Ms. Vidushi Verma, culminating in the release of the Seminar Proceedings.
With over 80 research paper presentations from scholars, academicians, and professionals across India, the event truly became a vibrant hub of knowledge exchange.
The Technical Sessions were chaired by a distinguished panel including Dr. Parul Gurudev, Dr. Zeeshan Hussain Hashmi, Prof. Dr. Minaxi Chaturvedi, Prof. Dr. Sunil Pathak, Dr. Aastha Sawhney, Dr. Shalini Agarwal, Dr. Divya Singh, and Ms. Anita Singh.
Adding to the academic fervor, a Special Workshop on “Cyber Security Law in the Digital Age” led by Dr. Parul Gurudev witnessed enthusiastic participation.
The event concluded on a high note with a heartfelt address by Dr. Purnima Chaudhary, a vote of thanks by Prof. Dr. Yogesh Kumar Gupta, awards for Best Research Papers, and a wonderful group photograph capturing the spirit of the day.
