𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗮𝘀 (founded in 2016) and 𝗝𝗼𝘆𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲 (founded in 2019) began as startups with a clear objective: to address everyday traffic challenges through technology. By creating digital platforms with innovative mobility solutions, they transformed a common urban problem into successful businesses.

𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹. Every successful venture starts with identifying a need. If they were able to turn a simple idea into impact, so can you!

Ms. Cathrene Amante of UPLB TTBDO conducted a lecture and workshop on 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 last 21 February 2026. The session was conducted in collaboration with the Alliance of Computer Science Students - UPLB for its annual flagship hackathon, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗯. The hackathon challenges students to apply creativity, collaboration, and user-centered thinking to design solutions for real-world problems through technology.

Our SIBOL Incubatees have officially wrapped up the last mentorship session of 2025!

Yesterday, December 11, we successfully held our final mentorship session of the UPLB SIBOL Program through a hybrid setup — with participants joining both onsite at the TTBDO Innonex Room and online via Zoom. 🌐🏢

The session focused on one of the most essential skills every startup founder must master: Pitching. 🚀

A huge thank-you to our mentor, Asst. Prof. Remund Jordan D. Labios, for sharing his expertise on crafting compelling pitches, communicating value with confidence, and telling a powerful startup story. His insights gave our incubatees the confidence and clarity to present their ventures with impact. 💡👏

This final session marks a strong finish to our mentorship journey this year — preparing our startups for investor engagements, competitions, and real-world opportunities. 🌱💼

Topic: Introduction to Supply Chain for Startups
Mentor: Ms. Jhoana Tamayor, Procurement Group Director, Manila Water

In this session, our incubatees explored the fundamentals of supply chain management — from sourcing and production to distribution and customer delivery. They also learned how startups can design efficient, cost-effective, and scalable supply chain systems to support business growth. 📦🔗
