About a month ago, Detroit Revitalization Fellows from Cohorts I through IV gathered for a special Michigan Central OPEN event. It was an extraordinary day as DRF alumni from all four cohorts came together to tour the newly restored Michigan Central Train Station. This event was particularly significant as they supported their fellow Fellow, Melissa Dittmer, who hosted the OPEN event as Head of Place for Michigan Central.

Adding to the excitement was reflecting on pictures from June 2019 when our Fellows first visited the train station. Back then, Ford Motor Company had just purchased the station and was beginning to identify and collect genuine elements from the station for salvage and preservation. It's awe-inspiring to see how beautifully restored the station is now and to witness this transformation exactly five years later with the same group of dedicated Fellows.

Another special highlight of the day was seeing Cohort I Fellows gather and celebrate their Cohort feature in the station's ticket booth room, showcasing the true impact of their remarkable journeys and continued cohesion 13 years later.

A huge shoutout to all our Fellows for their continued dedication, to Melissa for her incredible work in hosting a successful event, and to Cohort I for leading the charge!
