Criminals send phishing emails to their victims hoping to trick you into clicking a link, enabling them to download a virus onto your computer or steal personal information.
But reporting phishing emails doesn’t just make you a harder target, it also prevents other from falling victim to scams and may help stop criminal activity.
So, before you delete suspicious emails, always report them by forwarding them to: [email protected]
For emails that have come to your University inbox, please do not send these on to IT Support. Instead, with the message open, click ‘Report Message’ on the toolbar and select the appropriate option between ‘Junk’ or ‘Phishing’.
