👉 Stačí jí dát příležitost, důvěru a smysluplný projekt.
Už od roku 1998 propojuje prof. Antonín Kříž vědecký svět studentů s univerzitou v polských Gliwicích. Na tuto dlouholetou spolupráci navazuje také projekt International Educational Project, který už druhým rokem propojuje studenty z FSI UJEP v Ústí nad Labem a ze Silesian University of Technology v Gliwicích.
Projekt je založený na principu PBL – Project-Based Learning, tedy učení prostřednictvím konkrétního projektu.
Studenti společně zkoumají velmi tenké povrchové vrstvy materiálů, které mohou ovlivnit jejich odolnost, životnost i další vlastnosti důležité pro průmysl.
Nejde ale jen o výzkum. Studenti si díky projektu vyzkouší spolupráci v mezinárodním týmu, přípravu odborných článků i prezentaci výsledků na vědecké konferenci.
Za více než 25 let spolupráce vzniklo 14 společných projektů a 27 odborných článků. A hlavně prostor, ve kterém mohou mladí lidé růst. Právě díky akademikům, jako je prof. Antonín Kříž, mají studenti šanci zažít technické vzdělávání v praxi — a ukázat, že rozhodně mají co nabídnout.

👉 All it needs is an opportunity, trust and a meaningful project.
Since 1998, Prof. Antonín Kříž has been connecting science world of Czech students with the university in Gliwice, Poland. This long-standing cooperation is now being continued through the International Educational Project, which, for the second year, has been bringing together students from FSI UJEP at Ústí nad Labem and students from the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice.
The project is based on the principle of PBL – Project-Based Learning, meaning learning through a specific project.
Together, students examine very thin surface layers of materials that can influence their durability, lifetime and other properties important for industry.
But it is not only about research. Through the project, students experience what it means to work in an international team, prepare scientific papers and present the results of their work at a scientific conference.
Over more than 25 years of cooperation, this partnership has resulted in 14 joint projects and 27 scientific papers. Most importantly, it has created a space where young people can grow.
Thanks to academics such as Prof. Antonín Kříž, students have the opportunity to experience technical education in practice — and to show that they definitely have a lot to offer.
