The Wharton Undergraduate Cohort System is comprised of nine cohorts each named after a different world currency. The nine cohorts are Dinar, Dollar, Euro, Peso, Rand, Rupee, Shekel, Yen, and Yuan. Once placed into a cohort, you stay in the cohort for all four years at Wharton. The Cohort System is a unique because each Wharton student is placed into a cohort. Each cohort has its own board of leaders consisting of a president, a sophomore director, two freshman director, and a freshman representative (chosen during the first few weeks of freshman year). The sophomore director is responsible for sophomore programming while the freshmen directors and freshman representative are responsible for freshman programming. Cohort Cup: Each cohort accumulates points from coming to large-scale cohort events. Points can be earn for participation and competition. The cohort with the most points at the end of the year wins the Cohort Cup! Below you can find a list of our past winners. Whether you are a freshman or a senior, cohort leaders want to make Wharton students comfortable in their cohort, at Wharton, and at Penn in general! Feel free to reach out to them for anything at all.
