Hay que tomar descanos y disfrutar la vida para que todo no sea "trabajo" todo el tiempo. Aquí disfrutando de la compañía de los demás mientras jugamos lotería millennial. :)

¡¡Vista un recorrido virtual del laboratorio de cognición infantil de UCR!! ¡Puede ver donde hacemos las entrevistas con los niños y padres, donde cuidamos a los hermanos, y donde encontrarnos en el estacionamiento!

Estamos buscando familias con niños de 5- o 6-años de edad que son Mexicanos-Americanos y Católicos para participar en un estudio pagado de cómo los padres e hijos piensan de unas enfermedades.

Para participar, padre(s) y su hijo/a vendrían a UCR una vez por aproximadamente una hora y media. O, si quisiera, podríamos venir a su casa o reunirnos con usted en un lugar público (como un parque) si es más conveniente para usted. Durante el estudio, les pediremos a los padres e hijo/a que respondan unas preguntas acerca de su entendimiento de diferentes enfermedades (e.j., ¿por qué se enferma una persona de la gripa?), y ¡el hijo/a jugaría con unos juegos en el iPad, dibujar, y recibir muchos stickers!

Se compensamos a los padres $20 por su tiempo, y cada familia esta elegible para participar en 4 sorteos de $50 (dinero efectivo)
Estamos disponibles lunes a sábados desde 9 de la mañana hasta 8 de la tarde para programar una cita. Así que, si trabaja - no hay problema y podemos hacer todo después de trabajar o por el fin de semana. También, proveemos estacionamiento gratuito si viene a la universidad y ofrecemos cuidado de niños (por ejemplo, por otros hijos).

Take a virtual tour of the Childhood Cognition Lab at UCR!! See where we conduct one-on-one interviews with children and parents, take care of siblings, and where to meet us in the parking lot!

We are currently looking for bilingual, Catholic, Hispanic (Mexican-American) families with 5- or 6-year-old children to participate in a paid research study on how parents and children think about illness.

Participating involves 1 visit with you and your child lasting about an hour and a half - at our lab at UCR (see video below), or at your home or in a public location (e.g., a park) if that's more convenient for you. You and your child would be asked questions in English or Spanish about how you think about different types of illnesses (e.g., the flu). Your child would also play some games, color, and get lots of stickers!

All participants receive $20 for their time and will be entered to win in 4 draws each for $50 cash.

We are available Mondays to Saturdays, 9am to 8pm to schedule a visit at a time that is convenient for you!
