Juneteenth: A day where we reflect on our history and growth. We remember and acknowledge that it was two and a half years after the emancipation proclamation that enslaved people were finally free.
On this day, we can celebrate by learning black history and how today's culture is influenced by black culture. We can celebrate by supporting black-owned businesses. We can celebrate by engaging in conversations with those affected by racial injustice and participate in community service.
