Student Life is filled with not only some of the most outstanding staff, but also their furry friends at home! Benjamin Balderrama, the Senior Associate Director for Student Organizations and Fraternity & Sorority Life at UNLV has two extra helping paws at home: Kirby and Brie. Whether Kirby is being fake mad or Brie is loving attention from strangers, Balderrama and his wife enjoy their time with their beloved pets!

RSO Spotlight: Alpha Delta Pi International Sorority!

ADPi was founded in 1851 as a secret society at the Wesleyan Female College in Georgia, the first-ever secret society established for collegiate women. The members of ADPi are held to the highest standards of "scholarship, sisterhood, leadership and philanthropy," especially as the organization grows.

Student Life would not be the same without its amazing staff, and they would not be the same without their furry friends at home. Nayelli Rico Lopez, the Resource Coordinator at The Intersection - UNLV, has her home life coordinated by two cats: Basil and Canelo. Whether Basil is being grumpy or Canelo is begging for more treats even after a meal, Lopez enjoys her time away from UNLV by cuddling up with either of them!

A beautiful sunset, a little movement, and a good time spent with friends made for the perfect evening on campus UNLV. 🌅🤍✨

Students gathered on the UNLV Student Recreation & Wellness Center Lawn for Sunset Yoga & Sno Cones, taking a well-deserved break to relax, recharge, and connect with fellow Rebels. From stretching under the evening sky to enjoying a refreshing frozen treat, the event offered a fun and welcoming way to focus on well-being and build community.🍧🧘

UNLV's semester has come to a close and now it’s time to watch your Spring 2026 graduates walk the stage!

Students receiving Graduate Degrees will walk at 4 PM on Friday, May 15.

Commencement for Undergraduate Degrees takes place in two ceremonies at 9 AM and 3 PM on Saturday, May 16.

All commencement ceremonies will occur at the Thomas and Mack Center and can be viewed via livestream at https://www.unlv.edu/commencement/live-stream
