Our team attended the Indlela Mental Health Employers' Breakfast. It was a powerful and reflective session that highlighted how broad the work of advocating for inclusion truly is. We left with valuable insight & fresh questions on how we can strengthen inclusive advocacy within our field of work. We are grateful for the opportunity to attend.

✨ This Month’s Feature: Heart for Alternatives Pregnancy Crisis Centre — a true beacon of hope for expecting mothers in Gqeberha. 💜

We had the privilege of sitting down with the incredible team to learn more about who they are, what drives their mission, and how they continue to uplift mothers in our community. 🌸

We have doubled our signatures in just 24 hours - this is so incredible. We have reached over 500,000 signatures ✊🏾

Now let’s push it further. Let’s reach 1 million signatures to show the world that the women of South Africa refuse to die in silence.

Help us demand that GBVF be declared a National Disaster. Share the petition with everyone you know. Ask them to sign. Every voice counts. Every signature is a stand for life.

We were spoiled with a visit from Pumi, who started the GQ Mommy Club. She works alongside Embrace, the Movement for Mothers, to help Heart4A create a public profile. We got all dressed up as the camera was out, and we got to share our current needs and vision about the work here.

We had our End of Year Connect with Embrace, the Movement for Mothers and it was such a joy to see everyone, reflect on the work we’ve done, and look ahead to the year to come.

It was amazing to check in, share updates, and feel the collective energy of women committed to transforming maternal support in South Africa. Great things were discussed — including the exciting Maternal Support Grant Initiative.

We are feeling so encouraged and inspired for what’s ahead. It was truly lovely to see and reconnect with our PE Network. 💕

Here’s to another year of community, courage, and change.
