Looking back at FPD’s partnership with the Medical Women’s Association of South Africa (MWASA) in 2015, where we hosted a breast cancer awareness session at our head office 🎗️

The session empowered women with knowledge on breast health, early detection, and the importance of regular self‑examinations — encouraging them to take charge of their well‑being.

A truly powerful moment was hearing from breast cancer fighter, Ms Pearl Makgalemela, who shared her inspiring journey of strength, resilience, and hope in the face of the disease. 💙

While this moment is from the past, its message remains just as important today. Breast cancer continues to be the most common cancer affecting women in South Africa — making awareness more important than ever.
