Dear Girl Child,

To you who has a degree and you do not have a job, please don’t wait for a job to come to you. Go volunteer, accumulate more skills, help where you can, be on the lookout for where you can help. Assess your experiences, passions, talents, abilities, current skills and tactically converge them with what the world needs and is willing to pay for. Extend your thinking beyond the classroom (what you did at school). Have faith (believe in your self). The plan, ideas, concepts are there in your mind for you to explore them. You can even start something from scratch…. Live child, Live!!! Find your Power!!!

This is My Story!,
When I was at school, I did Science and Maths, my mother forced it on me, I wanted to do history and home economics, she said no ways. She went to my school, changed my subjects. Due to my other name Florence, I always thought I was going to be a nurse so I followed my mom’s instructions😍

I loved Maths but I struggled with Sciences, so
At University I studied BCom and majored in Development Economics, I had no clue what I was doing afterwards with this qualification.

Due to financial constraints, it took me a while to finish the Degree, I was actually married already when I graduated my Honours in Development Economics.

When I was older I realised that I still like working with and helping people. I started a new qualification BA in Psychology which I graduated.

I never thought about how these qualifications will be a part of my life but now in the things I do that have nothing to do with being employed I use them a lot and I get a lot of contentment. We all need jobs and be employed because we need to survive. But you can also find contentment in things that you create yourself, trust God, trust the process, trust yourself.
