Rockview University Nursing Students Get Hands-on Experience at Eastern Water and sanitation company.

Rockview University's nursing students recently had an industrial visit to the Eastern Water and Sanitation Company (EWSC), gaining valuable insights into the crucial role water and sanitation play in public health.

The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to water treatment processes, waste management, and sanitation practices. According to the students, it was an eye-opener, highlighting the importance of their role in promoting health and hygiene in communities.

"Understanding how water is treated and managed helps us educate patients on proper hygiene practices," said one student. EWSC staff shared challenges faced in ensuring access to clean water, emphasizing the need for nurses to advocate for water conservation and proper sanitation.

The visit reinforced the link between healthcare and environmental management, giving students a holistic view of patient care. Rockview University focuses on experiential learning, and this visit was a key part of their nursing curriculum.

Sports Day Highlights at Rockview University – Chipata Campus

The atmosphere at the Rockview University Chipata Campus was filled with excitement and energy during the much-anticipated annual Sports Day. The event brought together students, staff members, to celebrate teamwork, fitness, and unity through various sporting activities. ⚽🏐
One of the most entertaining moments of the day was the friendly but competitive match between staff members and the Student Council. In a surprising and exciting result, the staff team emerged victorious, defeating the Student Council. The match drew loud cheers from spectators who enjoyed the spirited performance and friendly rivalry between the two groups.
The tournament also featured strong competition between participating campuses. Rockview University Cargil Campus delivered an outstanding performance throughout the games and was ultimately crowned champions in both football and volleyball. Their teamwork, discipline, and determination helped them dominate the tournaments and secure the top positions in the two major sports.
The Sports Day not only showcased athletic talent but also strengthened the bond between students, staff, and campuses. It promoted a culture of healthy competition, teamwork, and school spirit among members of the university community. 🎉
