Good morning, comrades.

We are saddened to tell you the untimely demise of our brother, Derick Matebele. His death came as no one could expect it, through a suicidal activity.

Derick Matebele will be remembered as a dedicated member of the Association and a Co-founder. He served as the chairperson, at a voluntay note, of the Electoral Committee of the our Association during the 2024 Elections to usher into office the first Executive Committee of the Mukuba University Biomedical Sciences Student Association (MUK-BIOMEDSSA).

His contributions also stretch to being a dedicated advocate for the well being of our Association. More so, we will remember him as our brother.

This event, though sad as it is, calls for our rededication to ensuring the mental health of all our members to avoid the reccuring of such disasters.

We shall communicate any further information in due course.
