HAPPY AFRICAN FREEDOM DAY FROM CUNRES 🌍πŸ₯³β€ΌοΈ

On this African Freedom Day, CUNRES celebrates the strength, unity, and resilience of Africa. πŸŒπŸ’š

As we honor the sacrifices made for freedom, may we also remember our responsibility to protect our environment, preserve our natural resources, and build a sustainable future for generations to come.

Happy African Freedom Day!

Many people advocate for change, yet few live the change they speak of.
We litter when no one is watching, ignore sustainable living when it becomes inconvenient, and expect a better environment without playing our part.

At CUNRES, we believe real change begins with us.
Our aim is to become a big part of the change we advocate for through environmental protection, sustainable practices, and responsible living.

Protect the environment.
Live sustainably.
Be the change. 🌍🌱

HAPPY LABOR DAY FROM CUNRES ‼️

Today, we celebrate work but as natural resource students, we're reminded that the most important work we'll ever do is protecting the planet we live on 🌲🌲.

To every hand that plants, conserves, and fights for a greener tomorrow, today is for you 🫡🏽.

Rest today. Tomorrow, get back to work, because the forests, the wildlife, and the water body's are counting on us 🌍.

Happy Labour Day from the Copperbelt University Natural Resources Environmental Society!!!!

ONE TRIP, MANY MINDS WITH ONE PURPOSE!!!!!!.......

Yesterday, CUNRES took students from across the School of Natural Resources on a trip to Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage Trust , and it was something entirely fascinating and special.

Students from different programs (Wildlife Management, Forestry, Fisheries, Animal Science, Bioenergy, SNRMCC e.t.c.), different years, but one shared experience that none of us will forget quickly.
Because when you're standing in front of the world's largest chimpanzee sanctuary, watching a 53-year old rescued chimp named Milla, and all the 150 chimps and other species go about their day, the books suddenly feel very small.
This is why field trips matter. This is why CUNRES exist.

To our patron Dr. Zulu, and the executives who planned and made this happen, all thanks goes to you, and to every student who came, you know what you saw 😎🀭.
