SAVED BY PORK.
Imagine you are an Adventist elder or leader, and yet you entertain a life of having side chicks as they call them. You go to see that woman, she welcomes you warmly. With joy, she prepares what she thinks is the best dinner for you.
She comes to help you wash your hands, kneels down to hold a jar of nicely warmed water and pours it gently, occasionally looking at your face and back on your hands to ensure perfection.
In trying to be romantic, she tries to start serving the food, then you quickly chip in and say "let's pray!" She looks at your face with amazement but brushes it off as she closes her eyes in prayer. After you pray, then she uncovers the food. You look at the soup and realise it looks too nice to be beef.
Then knowing that as an Adventist there are foods you know the Bible doesn't allow, you ask, "what meat is this?" With a sweet voice she answers and says, "it's pork honey." Looking at her face, you smile and proudly say I don't eat pork my dear. Keenly she asks, "why." With a voice full of confidence, you answer and say "God doesn't allow to eat pork."
With a surprised face, she enquires, "does the Bible forbid eating of pork?" Confidently you reaffirm your conviction, and you answer, "yes!" Surprised with your stance she asks further and says "how does it happen that your God only forbids eating of pork and allows adultery?
The man simply stood up, looking the door he entered through, he said," my sister, I have just realised that this whole thing is not right. Jesus is coming soon, let's just repent and be sincere with our lives. They knelt down and prayed together for forgiveness. God is waiting for you my brother and my sister. It's time to be sincere, Jesus is coming soon. It's never too late for our God but please don't delay, time is closing up.
