Good morning members,
The Eden University Moot Court Team has once again, made it to the final of the Law Association of Zambia Moot Court Competition, where it will moot against the Mulungushi University. The entire team was comprised of Tapiwanashe Shereni, Precious Nyoni, Philis Chiunya, Gift Mateche, Tafadzwa Sagwidza and Mitchel Dube.
The accumulative points of yesterday and this morning's sessions, which qualified our team to the semi- finals, put Eden University in first position with 606 points, followed by the University of Zambia with 584 points. Mulungushi University was in third position with 560 points and NIPA had 558 points in fourth position.
We give thanks to the team members. Their success is a clear demonstration of what hard work, discipline, dedication and resilience can do. They have representative the institution and, in particular, the School of Law and Business Studies, very well. But most importantly, they have represented you, the members of this Association and it is our hope that you will draw inspiration from them.
The final will be held in Livingstone on 17th April during the LAZ AGM.
