The Kapasa Makasa University Students Union has called for support toward improving the institutionโ€™s sports and recreation facilities.

The union has acknowledged the efforts made by university management in developing sports infrastructure. However, it noted that as a growing institution, there are still critical areas that require urgent attention.

In light of this, the union has taken the initiative to organize a fundraising campaign aimed at enhancing and expanding the universityโ€™s sports and recreational facilities for the benefit of all students.

The union has further called upon the government, private sector stakeholders, and well-wishers to come on board and support this initiative in order to help create a more conducive environment for student sports and recreation.

๐Ÿšจ From Top 10 in the World to a Dream Delayed: Kapasa Makasaโ€™s International Trophy Mission Paused at the Airport๐Ÿšจ

This year in February, the first round of the Namibia International Cybersecurity CTF Competition and Conference was held, attracting 100 international participants from different countries.

Kapasa Makasa University proudly stood among the best through Alinaswe Simfukwe, who delivered an exceptional performance and qualified in the Top 10, securing his place in the prestigious finals.

Notably, Zambia produced only two students who qualified for the finals, one from Kapasa Makasa University and the other from ICU, both selected to represent Zambia and their respective institutions on the international stage.

The grand finals officially began today, 22nd April, and will run until 24th April in Namibia. Unfortunately, our player was unable to make it to Namibia in time and will now be traveling back to campus on 23rd April.

His mission was clear from the very beginning to bring the international trophy home to Kapasa Makasa University and place the institution on the global map**. Sadly, despite the dedication, preparation, and determination, his efforts were left in vain due to a slow response process that affected the journey.

Even so, this is not a loss of talent, but a delay of destiny.

Kapasa Makasa University has proven that it has students capable of competing with the best minds in the world. This achievement remains a proud moment for our institution and a sign of greater victories ahead.

This is not the end it is only the beginning.
The dream lives on, and we will return stronger.
