While attending the Engineering Institution of Zambia ( EIZ) AGM in Livingstone, our outgoing Chapter President, Mr. Steven Crown Musonda , had the privilege of engaging with key stakeholders within the engineering fraternity.

Among them was Eng. Malunga the current Engineers’ Representative on the 62nd EIZ Council, who is also seeking re-election to serve on the 63rd Council.

In a strong show of support for innovation and youth driven initiatives, Eng. Malunga contributed by purchasing tickets towards the upcoming CrowTech App Launch, scheduled for 25th April 2026.

Additionally, the Chapter President interacted with Eng. Brian Moonga, the newly elected Vice Chairperson for the EIZ Northern Region, who equally demonstrated his support by purchasing tickets for the event.

This growing endorsement from esteemed engineering professionals highlights the significance and potential impact of the CrowTech platform.

The Union elect have bought 15 tickets to support the launch of CrowTech an app meant to bridge the gap between technical service providers with companies and homeowners who may need their services, be it an electritian with someone who needs wiring a plumber with some one who needs maintenance etc all services are catered for hair dressing web developing and so in and so forth. Buy a ticket and attend this event to be hosted in kitwe at St Margaret UCZ Kitwe Town Centre 14 to 16hrs

The EIZ Nortec Student Chapter had the privilege of attending the Northern Region EIZ Annual General Meeting held at Garden Court in Kitwe.

It was a motivating experience to learn, interact, and network with senior practicing engineers who offered profound encouragement to students, technologists, and young engineers.

Later in the day, the chapter was also privileged to attend a technical tour at CEC, where we had the opportunity to appreciate the solar power plant in Kitwe and gain practical insights into renewable energy systems.
