YES

If you're considering growing crops on 1ha, remember to rotate them every now and then. And every few years, let the land rest and recover.(you grow a cover crop and dig it back into the land) This helps keep pests and diseases at bay, and it's really good for restoring soil fertility. Healthy soil is like a living thing, and it needs time to recharge. If you can do that on 1 ha, then you can make enough to survive.
