The Hult Prize 2026 competition was organized at Horizon University College as an initiative by Dr. Ghassan, Vice President-Academic Operations, and moderated by Dr. Karamath Ateeq., The event brought together eight selected student teams who showcased innovative and sustainable business ideas aimed at solving pressing global challenges.
Demonstrating outstanding creativity and impact, Nano Lifeline, led by Team Noor Ayman and Noha Fahim, emerged as the winners of this highly competitive round and advanced to the Qualifiers stage.
The competition served as a dynamic platform for students to strengthen leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while pitching bold, purpose-driven ideas before industry experts and a distinguished panel of judges. The Hult Prize challenges students to develop for-profit startups that address at least one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), empowering young innovators to create solutions with real-world impact. The global competition awards $1 million USD in seed funding to one winning team to bring their idea to life.
نظمت كلية هورايزون الجامعية مسابقة Hult Prize 2026 بمبادرة من الدكتور غسان عيسى، نائب الرئيس للشؤون الأكاديمية وبإدارة الدكتور كرامات عتيق. وقد جمعت الفعالية ثمانية فرق طلابية عرضت أفكارًا لأعمال مبتكرة ومستدامة تهدف إلى معالجة تحديات عالمية ملحّة.
وبعد منافسة قوية، فاز فريق Nano Lifeline بقيادة الطالبتين نور أيمن ونهى فهيم، ليتأهل إلى مرحلة Qualifiers في المسابقة.
وقد شكّلت المسابقة منصة تفاعلية أتاحت لطلبة الكلية تطوير مهارات القيادة والعمل الجماعي وحل المشكلات، من خلال تقديم أفكار ريادية هادفة أمام نخبة من الخبراء ولجنة تحكيم متخصصة. وتدعو مسابقة Hult Prize الطلبة إلى تطوير شركات ناشئة ربحية تسهم في تحقيق أحد أهداف التنمية المستدامة للأمم المتحدة (SDGs)، ممّا يمكّن الشباب من ابتكار حلول ذات أثر واقعي. كما تمنح المسابقة العالمية فريقًا فائزًا تمويلًا أوليًا بقيمة مليون دولار أمريكي لدعم تنفيذ فكرته على أرض الواقع.
