We are proud to share that Dr. Abdalellah Mohmmed, PhD, SFHEA has been nominated for the Research and Innovation Partnership Awards 2026 at De Montfort University, recognising his contribution to research and innovation.

The nomination recognises his work in establishing an international research collaboration between DMU Dubai and KAIST, South Korea, through a jointly funded project exploring AI-driven, bio-inspired desalination technologies for more sustainable water production. 🌍

The project brings together AI, bio-inspired design and engineering to address challenges around water scarcity, energy efficiency and sustainable desalination, while creating opportunities for student involvement, researcher development and international knowledge exchange.

A proud milestone for Dr. Mohmmed and the wider DMU Dubai research community, highlighting the impact of international collaboration in tackling real-world challenges.
