DATELINE: I want to share this letter of appreciation from a Ph.D. student who took up her Philosophical Foundations of Management under my mentorship.

Greetings!

First and foremost, I would like to thank you, Dr. Ed, for the opportunity to be one of your students. I am contented with the learning strategy you implemented for this section, given that we are all working and so we were able to maximize our time both as employees and students. So, if I may give my thoughts on this subject. I would like to sum it up with PPP.
1st P – stands for Panoptic.
2nd P – practical
3rd P - is Panoramic
Panoptic. as it provided us with a very wide topics starting from the history of philosophical foundation in Management, the legacies and advocacies of old philosophers down to current contributions of modern philosophers in management
Which I find it P- as in practical as all the philosophies of old and modern philosophers are all indeed practiced in various public and private institutions. Like for instance, for Aristotle, whose philosophy centers on ethics and governance. This philosophy of his is used by the Philippines government across the board. We have this Code of ethics for teachers and code of ethical standards for public officials and employees.
Thus, our subject is P-meaning Panoramic, meaning it is an all-encompassing view while being applicable and useful in real-life context.

DATELINE: Dr. Elvin Dalisay Fajutagana

Elvin Dalisay Fajutagana, a Civil Engineer, MBA
and PMP was confirmed and graduated with his Ph.D. in Business Management during the 82nd Commencement and Graduation Ceremony held at PICC, Pasay City on Saturday, August 24, 2023.

His Ph.D. dissertation was entitled,
“Project Change Order Management: Towards Improved Policies and Procedures.”

He is now taking his 2nd doctorate degree, Ph.D. DA majoring in Project Management with EPM & Associates.

He is presently working as the Technical and Commercial Manager of a large construction firm in Doha, Qatar and a President of the PICE Qatar Chapter.

DATELINE: Ph.D. Graduate: Richelle Arugay

EPM & Associates is happy to announce Dr. Richelle Arugay’s 2nd confirmation as a graduate of Ph.D. in Business Management from the Philippine Christian University held at the PICC, on Thursdsy, August 24, 2023, from 1:00 PM onward.

Her Ph.D. dissertation is entitled: “Exploring Qatarization Awareness and Implementation: A Mixed-Methods Study on Perceptions and Strategies for Workforce Nationalization in Qatar.”

She started her Ph.D. in 2018 and completed all the requirements in 2023. She graduated with her MBA from the Lyceum of the Philippines University Batangas in 2016 under EPM & Associates.

She is an Industrial engineer working with the Aspire Qatar Sports Development Institution as a Human Resources Specialist. She is planning to take her 2nd Ph.D. either this year or next year.
