UK Entry Requirements
Effective 4am on 11 October 2021, fully vaccinated passengers will be able to use their vaccine certificate as proof of vaccination.
This policy applies to those fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca (including Covidshield), Pfizer, Moderna and Janssen (Johnson & Johnson). When travelling to the UK, fully vaccinated passengers will:
Not be required to provide a pre-departure test
Not need to self isolate for 10 days after arrival in the UK
Not need to book & pay for a day 8 test
Will still be required to book and pay for a day 2 test to be taken after arrival
Passengers who arrive in the UK before 11 October 2021 or are not fully vaccinated before travelling from Nigeria to England will still need to:
Provide a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the departing flight to the UK
Book and pay in advance for a day 2 and a day 8 COVID tests (to be taken after arrival)
Complete the Passenger Locator Form which details where you will self-quarantine upon arrival as well as your COVID-19 test kits package reference number
Quarantine for 10 (ten) days at home or in the place you are staying after your arrival in the UK. The quarantine period starts the day you arrive in England and ends 10 days after the day you arrived
Take the pre-booked COVID-19 test on or before day 2 and on or after day 8
