For three decades of unrest, Afghanistan’s education system has been devastated. In 2002, only an estimated of one million children attended school while most of them were completely excluded from educational opportunities. Unfortunately even today, Afghanistan’s high school programs offer an outdated curriculum where students don’t have the opportunity to be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills that they need to join the workforce and meaningfully contribute which will lead to the rebuilding of our country Afghanistan. Therefore, there is a need to produce a quality education system which is important to economic growth, democratic development, and stability in Afghanistan.

To tackle this issue, a group of young minds and passionate college students with certain skills each summer come together to create and design a unique learning space from the ground up where Afghan students will be challenged and inspired to learn about a set of innovative and breakthrough educational skills that are rarely taught in their classrooms.
