California sun, San Francisco vibes, and a true Silicon Valley mindset:
14 Global Executive MBA students from LIMAK are in San Francisco this week — ready to gain new perspectives, expand their global network, and experience innovation where it is being reimagined every day.
After exploring San Francisco’s fascinating history — from the Gold Rush and the devastating earthquake to its reinvention as a global hub for technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation — our academic program kicked off at UC Berkeley.
At the historic Faculty Club, the former home of Oppenheimer, we enjoyed inspiring lectures by Rick Rasmussen on the Silicon Valley ecosystem, innovation, and entrepreneurship, as well as an engaging guest speaker session by Alina Adams on Innovation in the Age of AI. George Panagiotakopoulos’s session focused on the power of a strong pitch: getting to the heart of the problem, presenting a clear solution, and showing investors why an idea creates real value.
One key takeaway that truly stuck with us: It’s all about failure! Because where failure is understood as part of the process, there is room for courage, bold ideas, and real innovation.
And when it comes to AI, one thing became clear: The question is no longer whether we should use AI in our organizations — but how we can use it strategically, responsibly, and effectively.
We’re excited for what’s next: company visits, fresh insights, and even more Silicon Valley spirit!
