Our very own take at a wine festival in collaboration with Flinders Medical Students' Society and Adelaide Medical Students' Society - AMSS at McClaren Vale 🍇

Trivia is coming up on FRIDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER so make sure to get your tables organised! Tickets sales will be closing on THURSDAY 5PM!!

Other things to note:
It is BYO food and drinks but there will be drinks (including beer and wine) as well. There are also loads of raffles and a silent auction too.

Raffle ticket costs:
1 for $4
3 for $10

We will be running a coin toss game in the break - you need a $2 coin to play. The person who throws their coin closest to the bottle of gin/whisky will win the bottle!

Try and get there a bit early to find parking as the royal show is on and it will be busy 🙂

💌Get to know Sukhmani 💌

1. What does your role involve?
As a group we are responsible for providing learning aids and advice to Students of the Dental Students’ Society through Workshops, Specialists Clubs and Educational Talks. We communicate with a variety of Specialists and Dentists all in benefit of the Students.📖📚

2. What is your favourite thing about the AUDSS?
Just being involved and helping others is something I really enjoy and being in the AUDSS gives me that opportunity to do just that. 🙏🏻🤝❤️

3. What is the funniest thing that has happened to you in dentistry?
One of my lecturer’s decided to bring his bunny on zoom and he was just having a conversation with him. He was asking the bunny if he wanted to do dentistry and was imagining him holding a probe 🐰🦷

💌Get to know Brendan 💌

1. What does your role involve?
Lots of follow-up with specialists/dentists/sponsors/dental reps and other AUDSS members to set up tutorials, workshops and educational talks for extracurricular learning :) 🤝📝

2. What is your favourite thing about the AUDSS?
Amazing opportunity to interact and meet with new people from outside your cohort!! ❤️🙏🏻

3. What is the funniest thing that has happened to you in dentistry?
When one of my Zoom tutorials got cancelled because a classmate whose mic was still unmuted at the start of the session started swearing at his roommate LOL :P 🤬😓

A Night in Paris ✨ AUDSS Ball 2021… no better time to post than the last day of the year 😛
This event was not one to miss. Everyone dressed up in their finery to enjoy the vibrant Parisian night life, a candle light dinner with a French twist, French wine (mimosas)🥂, and a view of the dazzling Eiffel Tower. Thank you so much to everyone who made this event a success as well as our sponsors Wright Evans Partners, ADEC and PAX migration lawyers for making this night possible. A special thank you to Alex and Tyson from WEP for running our quiz!
