🔥 Check out Blake from Thomas More College absolutely smashing it in the kitchen!

Blake recently prepared, cooked and plated up a delicious Sirloin steak served with pomme purée, red wine jus and a perfectly crafted Hollandaise sauce. 🍽️👏

We are so proud to see the skill, passion and confidence Blake has developed throughout his SIT20421 Certificate II in Cookery this semester. The attention to detail and presentation are next level!

This semester we’ve had the pleasure of partnering with the Department for Education and Riverbanks College to deliver a cookery pilot program designed to support students with adaptable and inclusive training options.

Through non-accredited training, students are building valuable life skills including hygiene practices, safe food handling, food preparation and of course everyone’s favourite part — taste testing! 👩‍🍳🍽️

Recently, the class visited our trade school where they spent the day with Trainer Sarah and Trainer Graham cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

Programs like this highlight the importance of creating flexible learning opportunities that empower every student to build confidence, independence and practical skills for the future. 🌟

We are excited to announce that Adelaide Institute of Hospitality has officially achieved Occupational Recognition Service Quality Accreditation (ORS QAP) with the South Australian Skills Commission.

This accreditation means that eligible students completing the Certificate III in Commercial Cookery training contract with AIOH will automatically receive Occupational Recognition certification without the need for additional assessments or fees, despite the classification being changed from apprenticeship to traineeship.

This is a major win for our students and further strengthens AIOH’s position as a leading provider of industry-focused hospitality training.

We are incredibly proud of this achievement and what it means for the future of our students and industry partnerships.
