We organise competitions for people of all levels of experience and provide members with the opportunity to travel interstate and globally. We run one main debating competition each semester. You do not need to be a student to participate in our internal competitions. Involvement is a small time commitment, but can provide valuable skills for your studies or career. Come on down to round 4 of our BP tournament this THURSDAY!! 🤩🤩🤩 We have an education session 📖 in Lower Napier LG18 from 5pm to 6pm. This education session will focus on mechanisation and a case study of a previous worlds debate. You can also ask any questions you have about the BP style of debating.

Debates will start at 6pm in LG29. After the debates feel free to join us for burgers! 🍔 🍔🍔

Come on down to round 3 of our BP tournament TONIGHT!! 🤩🤩🤩 We have an education session 📖 in Lower Napier LG18 from 5pm to 6pm. Tonight the education session will focus on types of topics, case construction, and adjudicator analysis but feel free to ask any questions you have about the BP style of debating.

Debates will start at 6pm. After the debates feel free to join us for burgers! 🍔 🍔

Come on down to LG29 at 6pm. First time debating or 100th everyone is welcome.
Don’t have a team? No worries, just bring yourself and we’ll assign you one. Meet new people and improve your debating skills.

5-6pm: Education Session
