đź‘€ Looking for your next big theological read? đź“–

Rev Paul Clark recommends Christopher Watkin’s 'Biblical Critical Theory' — a rich, mind-boggling journey through Scripture, culture, and the theology of the cross.

We have a copy in the Trinity College Queensland library available to borrow, and library membership is free for UCA members!

Life is full — work, family, church, community, and everything in between. Study needs to fit into real life, not compete with it.

That’s why Trinity College Queensland offers both online and in-person study options through the Trinity Stack: a flexible model designed to help students choose what works best for them. 🙌🏻

With six terms each year, and each term running for six weeks, students focus on one unit at a time — making steady progress while staying present in the people and places God has already called them to.

Same academic depth. Same theological integrity. More flexible delivery.

Every congregation has a story worth sharing, and there are many ways to tell it. ✍🏻🎨🖌️

For our History Symposium on 15 August 2026, congregations are invited to prepare a simple visual display sharing the story of worship, ministry, mission, and community life at their site.

Your display could be a photo timeline, presentation board, church quilt, artwork, existing banner, ministry poster, or another creative presentation. It does not need to be professionally designed — it simply needs to tell your congregation’s story.

As a general guide, displays may be approximately the size of a standard pull-up banner, around 850mm wide Ă— 2000mm high.

Please provide a short 100–250 word description to accompany the display as well.

Interested in taking part?
Please contact Rachel Krohn at [email protected] or Belinda on (07) 3377 9950.

We’re delighted to celebrate the publication of a new book by Charles Ringma,
✨Living and Sharing the Story: Being Good News for the World ✨

Each Friday, Charles gathers with a group of friends in the Trinity library. They call themselves “The Holy Scribblers” — writers, readers, and published authors who continue to meet simply for the joy of learning, writing, and sharing ideas together.

Using the resources of our library, they encourage one another in the craft of writing and the lifelong pursuit of wisdom.

It’s a beautiful reminder that scholarship doesn’t end at retirement, and that community, curiosity, and creativity continue to flourish at every stage of life.

Congratulations, Charles, on this new publication and for the many stories, conversations, and reflections you continue to share with others.
