St Mark’s is hosting a panel discussion about the themes from the recently published book God’s Yes to Women: Why the Bible’s Vision of Partnership is Good News for Us All.

The book’s three editors, Dr Laura Rademaker, the Rev Anna Boxwell and Dr Amy Erickson, have gathered a range of men and women from across Australia to explore both biblical teaching and lived experience.

Several of the contributors to the book are from our Diocese and St Mark’s: the Rev Scott Goode, Assistant Bishop Vanessa Bennett, Dr Michael Gladwin, the Rev Dr Andrew Cameron and Dr Jacqueline Service.

All welcome as we explore together the Bible’s teaching, hear responses to the book, and stories about how local churches are seeking to have men and women serve together.

Lunchtime Conversations: Christian Service under Trial

On 10 September, join us for a conversation with the Rev Dr Jane Foulcher, Anglican priest, adjunct senior lecturer in the School of Theology at Charles Sturt University, and a former Director at St Mark's.

She is the author of the new book, Life Here Together – The Prophetic Gift of the Tibhirine Monks (2026) and Reclaiming Humility: Four Studies in the Monastic Tradition (2015).

Dr Aden Cotterill will lead a discussion with the Rev Dr Foulcher, followed by a time of Q&A.
