“I feel incredibly grateful to receive the First Year Champion Award. Moving to a new country and starting university was both exciting and challenging, but it has been such a rewarding journey. Over the past year, I’ve had the chance to grow not only academically but also personally, meeting amazing people and learning so much along the way.
Studying Early Childhood Education at VU Brisbane has reminded me why I chose this path in the first place. Being able to support children’s learning and development is something I’m truly passionate about, and this recognition encourages me to keep working hard and continuing to learn. I’m really thankful to my lecturers, mentors and everyone who has supported me throughout this journey."
